Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on a new Biden administration rule which will have homebuyers with good credit pay more in order to subsidize riskier borrowers.

“I went from homeless to the House of Representatives. I worked really hard, my husband and I, to establish good credit. I mean, that is really seriously basically a part time job. If you have had bad credit and you’re trying to rebuild your credit or just even establish good credit, it is a dedicated effort.  And so I sit here and I think of all the things that my husband and I did to save to pay down debt, to do all these things so that we could be in a position to get a loan whenever we needed it and have that good score. And now we’re being punished for it. We’re being made to punished for it. And it all comes down to something very simple. It’s choices. It is 100% choices. And that is the personal responsibility aspect that has been completely not only ignored, but now you’re punished for your personal responsibility. And I am so frustrated to think that now we’re going to have to pay $40 more a month if you have a good credit score, $40 more a month to subsidize those that don’t have good credit scores. That is just anti-American. It is 100% anti-American to punish people for doing the right thing. We’re supposed to incentivize people to excel, to succeed, to do the right thing and make good choices. And here we are doing the opposite.”

Rep. Cammack also sheds light on the consequences of President Biden’s lenient border policies. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
