Former U.S. Senate candidate in New York Joe Pinion joins Fox Across America With guest host Harry Hurley to share his thoughts on Monday’s House Judiciary Committee field hearing in New York City, which was focused on the consequences of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s soft-on-crime policies.

“I think it was in many ways a disgusting display by the Democratic lawmakers that showed up for the hearing. Keep in mind, they were under no obligation to show up. They showed up to pervert the underlying reason for the hearing, to try to crusade about gun violence. And I don’t know how you sit there and listen to somebody like Madeleine Brame, a woman who had to bury her son, the man who raised his hand to serve this nation, went to Afghanistan only to be butchered here at home like a dog in the street by a bunch of common thugs, tell about how Alvin Bragg has brought more pain to her family, in some cases, than the criminals by his refusal to hold every last one of the people responsible for her son’s death accountable. I mean, people who quite literally tripped Hasan on his way trying to escape are now home to enjoy Christmas and Thanksgiving and any normal Wednesday with their family and their loved ones. So I don’t know how in the face of that, you turn around and try to diminish their pain, try to diminish the importance of taking the plight of criminality that is sweeping across this country seriously. But again, all Democrats care about is how they can hold on to power, not how they can use the power given to them by the people of this nation to honor their first obligation, the safety and security of the people they call this great land home.”
