Evening Edition: U.S. Marshals Discouraged From Arresting Supreme Court Protestors
When the U.S. Marshals were assigned to protect the homes of Supreme Court justices last year they were advised to not arrest protestors ‘unless absolutely necessary’. Senator Katie Britt took Attorney General Merrick Garland to task on Tuesday during a congressional hearing about this new information her office obtained from a whistleblower.
