Extra: We’ve All Been Hacked…Or Will Be. Here’s How To Protect Yourself.
The intelligence community continues to warn Americans about cyber threats from China, Russia, and North Korea.
In fact, it was a key issue raised at a Congressional hearing this week that focused on worldwide threats.
Recently, a criminal site operating out of Russia called BidenCash posted more than 2 million stolen credit and debit cards on the dark web. The data dump also included the release of the private information of millions of people, leaving them vulnerable to identity theft.
Tech expert Kurt “The Cyber Guy” Knutsson joined the Rundown’s Dave Anthony to explain how foreign adversaries are stealing the data and personal information of Americans.
He explained how to protect yourself from international attacks, and also smaller schemes, like small groups who have found ways to steal and access iPhones from people at bars and restaurants.
Most importantly, “The Cyber Guy” offered advice on making sure you haven’t already been a hacking victim and what to do if you become one.
Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the discussion in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire interview with Kurt “The Cyber Guy” Knutsson and learn more about hacking scams and how to defend yourself against them.
