Evening Edition: U.S. Energy Department Says A Lab Leak Likely Caused COVID-19 Pandemic

The United States Energy Department has changed its mind on the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and now says it believes the spread started with a lab leak in China. The Energy Department cited ‘new intelligence’ the altered their stance but did not go into detail on exactly what that is. FOX’s Eben Brown spoke with Rik Mehta, adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center and former consumer safety officer at the FDA, about this opinion turnaround and what we can learn from it.
