Listen To The Full Interview Below:
General Jack Keane, retired 4-star general, the chairman of the Institute for the Study of War and Fox News Senior Strategic Analyst joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss the significant national security concerns surrounding the now multiple reported incidents of Chinese spy balloons entering U.S airspace.
General Keane explained what he thinks the Chinese spy balloons are probing for saying,
“What I believe the balloons are doing are probing the United States in different areas to see what the vulnerabilities are, are classic detection devices for nuclear weapons, whether it’s missiles or bombers coming out of Russia and China, northern orbit, North Pole, east and west. You come from the south. I don’t believe the radar suites there are in the same numbers. I don’t believe the satellite coverage is what it should be. And that is what China is probing. And I believe they’re finding as a result of these and the detection and they need. Listen, the administration is admitting that airspace was violated. And the fact is we’ve got to fix this problem. And so it is a it’s a serious problem because what could follow a balloon, that pathway, as I mentioned, is a high speed supersonic weapons system. That’s a supersonic glide path system that is carrying a Nuclear weapon.”
