Senior Policy Analyst at the Independent Women’s Forum Inez Stepman joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the consequences of Democratic lawmakers like New York Governor Kathy Hochul not doing enough to address the rampant crime spike happening in major cities throughout the country.

“Look, everybody recognizes there’s this gaslighting sort of campaign to try to pretend that crime isn’t going up. Literally everyone who lives in a major urban area in America knows that crime is going up. And they try to tell us that that’s not the case. And if you look at the statistics, it’s also the case, but you know, any any set of statistics, it’s lies, white lies and statistics. You can manipulate some statistics. You can pull out certain crimes that haven’t gone up. But like other really important crimes, like, I don’t know, murder, have gone up. But they’ve try to convince people that this isn’t happening when, I don’t know about everybody else, but I see it on the crime apps just around my neighborhood. Just in the last couple of years, it’s gone from, oh, the occasional sort of fight outside a convenience store or bodega. Now it’s like assault, robbery. Right? Guy has a knife, guy has a gun. It’s just the escalation of it is very obvious to anybody who actually lives in one of these areas.’
