Rep. Lee Zeldin: Our Campaign Is About Making New Yorkers Feel Safe Again
New York Republican gubernatorial nominee Lee Zeldin joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the top issues voters have been telling him are currently impacting their lives the most.
“What I’m hearing about is that New Yorkers are talking about crime and the economy. I’m speaking up about crime and the economy because that’s what people are telling me. But what Kathy Hochul and Hillary Clinton are trying to accomplish is that their answer is about just some other stuff because they want to change the topic to that. And they’re only further alienating themselves from people who actually want to know that you, as the elected official and candidate, are motivated to actually do something about it. You understand the issues here, your solutions to tackle it. You want to support our men and women in law enforcement, fire rogue DA’s refusing to enforce the law, roll back these pro-criminal laws, take back our streets. But you’re not getting that right now from what we’re running against.”
Rep. Zeldin also reacts to incumbent Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul brining in Hillary Clinton and Vice President Kamala Harris to campaign with her in these crucial final days before the election. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
