Mollie Hemingway: The FBI Raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Home Over What Amounts To A Paperwork Dispute
Editor-in-Chief of The Federalist Mollie Hemingway joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why the FBI’s raid of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence last month was politically motivated and completely unnecessary.
“Because I’ve been following what the FBI and Department of Justice have been doing for years, I just give them not a single moment of credibility. And based on what I do understand about this dispute, it really is a paperwork dispute. The guy behind it is this guy at the National Archives who’s a crazy partisan, you know, a big fan of Nancy Pelosi. He defended Hillary Clinton when she mishandled classified information. The day Trump left office, he began this jihad against him. So I don’t understand why we would even take any of these claims in good faith. There’s no reason for Trump to act like this pursuit of him is a legitimate thing because nothing the Department of Justice or FBI have done relative to Trump and his affiliates has been in good faith for years. And they haven’t even begun to hold themselves accountable for it or repent of it.”
