Lara Trump: We Can’t Trust The Department Of Justice If They Keep Hiding Information
Fox News contributor Lara Trump joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on the Justice Department submitting proposed redactions to the sworn affidavit accompanying the FBI search warrant of former President Trump’s Mar-A-Lago residence earlier this month.
“Isn’t it interesting that all of the same folks in the media who had all these big revelations during the Russia collusion hoax are the same people that are now getting a little drip, drip, drip of information that we see coming out? And that’s being leaked, obviously, in an effort by the DOJ to change the narrative and kind of control things from their perspective. But that’s what this is all about. And they’re going to keep as much information away from us as they can unless they want it out. I think we all knew that from the beginning. But you know, it’s really sad for America because people really need to be able to trust our institutions like the Department of Justice. And I think the longer people go without any solid information, without any justification for such an unprecedented raid on a former president’s home like we saw happen with my father in law, I think the more it just goes to further this notion that the Department of Justice is not an agency that people can rely on. 48 percent of independents think it’s corrupt at this point in a recent poll, and that’s just not good for America. And we have to be able to trust our institutions. They’re going to keep everything hidden as long as possible and just leak out whatever they want to the media.”
Lara and Jimmy also talk about how the media continues to obsess over taking down Trump. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
