Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future Daniel Turner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm saying that although the Biden administration is optimistic gas prices will continue to fall, certain factors are out of their control.
“The problem when it comes to these gas prices is they’ve lied so many times about the causes of it and the driver of it that they forgot what they said. So then when gas prices came down, they wanted to take all this credit. They said gas prices were up because of as long as it requires to win the war in Ukraine. Then they said gas prices were up because of corporate greed and because of profiteering. And we hauled ExxonMobil before all these committees and the senators angrily banged their hands on the table. They blamed it on corporate greed. So they made up answers. Well, now they want all the credit for it. But they’re saying, but something else could drive back up gas prices. So, really, you don’t know what is causing these market problems, do you, Secretary? And the answer is she doesn’t. She is a politician and she will say whatever she has to in the moment to help her agenda. And that’s being a brilliant politician.”
