Florida AG Ashley Moody: Our Criminal Investigative Agencies Should Never Be Used For Political Purposes

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the transparency problems with our country’s investigative agencies in the wake of the FBI’s raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

“I think it is incumbent upon Americans, regardless of party right now, to demand accountability and assurances that our criminal investigative agencies aren’t being used in a partisan way.  This latest event is an event that is causing concern not just because it’s unprecedented to do a search warrant on a former president of the United States, not just because of that event, but because of all of the concerning events that led up to that and might sew doubt that the independence of the FBI is there. And not just as the Attorney General now, but as a former judge, as a former federal prosecutor, I think that is crucial for a free nation. And you can’t call it sowing violence or fomenting violence when you’re just demanding assurances that your government is operating the way it was set up and meant to.”

Plus, AG Moody calls on the Department of Justice to come out and explain what supported this raid. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
