FBI, MI5 Sound The Alarm On Chinese Espionage
FBI Director Christopher Wray and MI5 Director General Ken McCallum spoke together in London in an unprecedented joint news conference to issue a warning against the threat of Chinese espionage and cyberattacks calling it “the most game-changing challenge” as they “covertly apply pressure across the globe.” This speech was the first time the FBI and MI5 leaders had shared a public platform, where both intelligence heads stressed how the Chinese government’s actions were threatening the national security and economic prosperity of other nations. Congressman Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) on the House Intelligence Committee joins to break down this intelligence warning and explain the threat the Chinese government poses.
