Rep. Greg Murphy: The National Baby Formula Shortage Is A Self-Inflicted Crisis
North Carolina Republican Congressman Greg Murphy joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why the Biden administration’s incompetence is to blame for the national baby formula shortage.
“I’ve been very blessed to work in a lot of Third World countries over the last 30 plus years, throughout Africa, India and Central America. What we’re having here in the United States is a Third World problem, and we’re here in the United States. But this is 100 percent self-inflicted. You know, when there was a problem with Abbott Labs, which produces 40 percent of our baby formula, and they were shut down and had to reformulate things. This happens in the food industry all the time, but the fact that the FDA would not answer their calls, would not come back, would not approve their new policies, speaks volumes to the tone deafness of this administration. They simply either don’t care or they’re just ignorant or lazy. And I’d rather not think the latter. I’d rather not think all of them. But here we are in this First World country, the greatest country on earth, having a Third World problem.”
Rep. Murphy also shares his thoughts on last week’s bombshell testimony from former Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
