Byron York: Conservatives Should Be Cautious In Their Celebration Of Elon Musk Buying Twitter

Byron York, Chief political correspondent at the Washington Examiner and Fox News contributor joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss billionaire Elon Musk becoming the new owner of the social media platform Twitter.

York cautioned conservatives over overly celebration the unpredictable billionaire’s recent purchase by saying,

“Listen, I think conservatives should be cautious in their celebration about the purchase of Twitter. You know, Musk, I haven’t studied him, but he’s clearly a brilliant but eccentric individual. I think he does believe in freedom of speech, but he’s eccentric and he is unpredictable. And so I simply would not, you know, be happy of, you know, completely happy if I were conservative looking at this.”

York added,

“What you’re seeing now in the meltdown is simply an admission that, wait a minute, we thought we owned this place and now it’s being taken away from us.”
