Rep. Jim Jordan: Elon Musk Buying Twitter Would Be A Win For The First Amendment
Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s huge offer to buy Twitter and take the company private.
“I think this is tremendous. And finally, some pushback because for so long, the Left says, if you don’t agree with me, you’re not even allowed to speak. And if you try, we’re going to call you a racist and we’re going to cancel you. And the country has said, forget that noise. And someone with resources like Elon Musk is saying, forget that, I’m just going to try to buy you guys. I hope it goes through, and we’ll see what these people do. The fiduciary responsibility they have, the stock price is going up I think like 16, 17 bucks with what he’s doing. If they don’t do that, I mean, that’s serious. So I’m interested to see how this plays out, but I hope it goes forward and we get a place where you can actually have the First Amendment be the First Amendment.”
