“There’s Much More We Can Do”: Sen. Gillibrand Discusses Ukraine, America’s Cyber Defenses & The Border

Washington is mostly united when it comes to its support for Ukraine. Like many of her Republican colleagues, Democrat New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand believes we need even more ‘crippling’ sanctions for Putin and Russian oligarchs.

As a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Gillibrand also realizes the gravity of Russia’s invasion and the possibility of another world war.

Earlier this week on the FOX News Rundown, host Jessica Rosenthal spoke with Senator Gillibrand about the war on Ukraine, how the Biden Administration and our allies have responded and what they should do next.

She also discussed the urgent need for a national cyber academy to aid and protect the federal government given the growing fears and concerns regarding foreign cyber-attacks on the country.

Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the conversations in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear the entire discussion with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand which also includes her views on the Iran nuclear deal, why she’s calling for a holistic approach to immigration along with a proper pathway to citizenship, and why she’s feeling hopeful for her Democratic colleagues in the Senate come midterms this fall.
