Bret Baier, Chief Political Anchor for Fox News & Anchor of Special Report with Bret Baier joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss the latest developments in the war and the politics of Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearings.

Baier called out a recent Washington Post editorial that claimed Ketanji Brown Jackson was treated worse at her confirmation hearing than Brett Kavanaugh saying,

I don’t know what they were watching. I don’t think that America was watching as much. And I just don’t think that a lot of folks think that this is the one that Republicans are going to die on this hill. Because remember, I mean, Stephen Breyer also, it’s in the same vein, although clearly Judge Jackson is more liberal in some of her views, especially when it comes to crime and. And that was exposed and talked about a lot in these hearings. But it’s not enough to change votes even in this razor thin environment, and I think when you had Maine Senator Susan Collins say that she was going to vote for her. That was the cat’s out of the bag. I mean, it’s done. They’re going to get them out of committee or out of committee. The floor will vote and they will have 51, 52, 53 votes.”
