Bill Melugin: Dropping Of Title 42 Policy Will Bring ‘Absolute Chaos’ At The Southern Border

Bill Melugin, national correspondent for Fox News joined the Guy Benson Show to report on the massive influx of illegal immigrants at the southern border and how the proposed dropping of covid era border policy ‘title 42’ will affect the number of daily border crossings.

Melugin reported on what the policy change of dropping title 42 would mean for the border saying,

“But as I’m sure you heard, they’re talking about dropping Title 42, which is going to be absolute chaos down here at the border. DHS says if it drops, their projections are they need to prepare for upwards of 18000 illegal crossings every single day. And just to put that in perspective for you about how catastrophic that would be. Right now, it’s about seven thousand illegal crossings a day and everything is over capacity and everything is overwhelmed. So you’re talking about more than doubling if title 42 drops.”
