Bill Barr Slams Democrats And Media Over ‘Russiagate’ Conspiracy

Bill Barr, Former U.S. Attorney General, Author Of “One Damn Thing After Another: Memoirs of an Attorney General” joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss his new book and recount his time as Attorney General during the Trump administration.

Barr ripped Democrats and the media for pushing the ‘Russiagate’ conspiracy saying,

“I mean, Russiagate was a it was a monstrous big lie, and it’s had a lot of. It hobbled the administration. It deprives a duly elected president of being able to run a and, you know, his branch of government and execute on the policies he had promised to deliver and kept them kept them on the defensive for over two years. But it had other ramifications. It fundamentally prevented the United States from a normal foreign policy engagement with Russia. And, you know, trying to find some kind of modus vivendi with Russia. I mean, maybe it would have been possible to avoid the current circumstance. I don’t know. But President Trump was unable to follow normal diplomacy with Russia because of it.”
