Despite the obstacles Ukrainians are currently facing, the way those in the country are uniting is inspiring millions across the globe. Zinaida Kukina, a Ukrainian citizen currently located in the country’s capital, Kyiv, joins the Rundown to discuss what current conditions are like in Ukraine, why she decided to stay in the country and why she believes Ukrainians should keep fighting for their freedom.

On February 25th, President Biden announced his Supreme Court nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer. If confirmed Judge Jackson would become the first Black female nominee to sit on the highest court of the land.
