KT McFarland: What’s Next Following Putin’s Invasion Of Ukraine
Former Deputy National Security Advisor KT McFarland joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to provide insight on what’s going on in Eastern Europe.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched an invasion of Ukraine. KT tells guest host Paul Gleiser President Biden’s inability to stand up to Putin allowed him to take this aggressive action.
“Biden gets into office, he shuts down the American energy industry. Six months into his administration, he then meets with Putin. And then he basically gives Putin a free ride with all that cyberhacking he was doing over the summer. And then, over the summer Putin issues a statement saying, in Ukraine there are Russian national people there. We have a historic right to Ukraine. And then we have the Afghan fiasco, the shambolic withdrawal. All of those things emboldened Putin to say to himself, well this is my time.”
Paul is also joined by Professor of Business and Economics at The King’s College in Manhattan Brian Brenberg, who explains the economic consequences of Russia’s invasion. According to Brian, this grave situation will impact people’s wallets in Europe, as well as the U.S.
Plus, Texas Congressman Pat Fallon discusses Putin’s actions, what he could be planning to do next and how President Biden should have initially responded when Russia began threatening Ukraine. Later, publisher of The Federalist Ben Domenech weighs in on what could happen next in Europe. Ben lays out why our President’s failure in leadership is partially responsible for this entire conflict.
