FOX News Rundown EXTRA: Did This COVID Mom Fall Victim To ‘Cancel Culture’?
Ever since California shuttered schools during the pandemic, Levi’s President Jennifer Sey was outspoken, advocating for schools to reopen to get students back in classrooms.
As a result of her public questioning of school closures, she claims she was warned to stop this speech by Levi’s legal department, HR department, and even Levi Strauss CEO Chip Bergh.
The pressure, she says, eventually forced her to quit.
On the FOX News Rundown this week, former Global Brand President of Levi’s and author Jennifer Sey joined host Lisa Brady to share why she felt she had no choice but to speak up about California schools’ closures and how that led to her eventual resignation.
Sey also discussed ‘cancel culture’ in the corporate world and how much of it is being driven by not just outside ‘outrage’ on social media but also from within companies themselves by a younger generation of woke employees.
Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the interview in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire conversation with Jennifer Sey and hear more about how her life was turned upside down when she decided to voice her opinion.
