A new cybersecurity vulnerability has been discovered and is affecting millions of websites and applications from Google to Amazon to computer systems that run hospitals. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security calls the flaw in the ‘Log4j’ software one of the most serious security vulnerabilities in decades.
