Chris Wallace spoke to Brian Kilmeade about Katie Couric’s decision in to edit out Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s criticism of Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the National Anthem and people burning the flag in a 2016 interview. Wallace said it’s everything that he opposes in the news media. Wallace believes the media are not there to promote people, they are there to report the news. Wallace said journalists should just do the news and their job. He added, you’re not an unofficial PR firm for the person you’re interviewing.
