After over a year and a half of living with COVID-19, the origins of the virus remain a mystery due to the complex nature of the coronavirus and the unwillingness to cooperate from the source country, China.

The original theory was that COVID-19 came from a virus jumping from one animal to another and then infecting a human, however theories about a leak from a virology lab in Wuhan, China began to surface. At first, the scientific community dismissed this theory but now many scientists admit this is a possibility.

Earlier this week, host Dave Anthony discussed all of this with World Health Organization Advisor and Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, Jamie Metzl who has been called the first whistleblower on COVID-19.

The conversation was too long and we could not include everything Jamie Metzl had to say about the potential origins of COVID-19. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear the full, uninterrupted conversation.
