Evening Edition: Staying Behind In Afghanistan To Help Those In Need

While thousands still want out of Afghanistan, whether you are an American or native Afghan that wants to escape Taliban rule, some are purposefully staying to help where they can. One such source of help that is staying behind is the International Committee of the Red Cross that has run a medical center in Kabul for decades that cares for amputees. FOX’s Simon Owen speaks to Alberto Cairo, head of the Red Cross’s orthopaedic program in Afghanistan, about the current situation there and why he has decided to stay.
