Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick: Dealing With COVID & The Border, Biden Has “Turned His Back On The Country”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick explained how President Biden has “turned his back on the country” when dealing with those who are crossing the border illegally while still being infected with COVID, and gave his opinion on Gov. Andrew Cuomo choosing not to resign after being found to have sexually harassed various women and staff members.

“This is by design from the administration. That’s why they don’t care about the disease that’s coming out of Texas and every town in this country because these people are being put on a bus, even though they tested positive for COVID and sent to a city somewhere in the country. They used to say this, kind of like somebody trying to be smart and I’m not saying this to be a smart aleck, I’d like to take six bus loads of people with COVID, illegal, and bring them to any Democrat Congressman’s neighborhood and see what they think. You know, drop them off somewhere. We would never tolerate that.”

“I’m as conservative as you can be. But looking back on history, any Republican president, any Democrat president, I don’t know of any president in the history of this country that would open up our border and allow millions of people to cross it, to have a deadly virus, while they’re trying to stop that virus, but to have a deadly virus, who are infiltrated with gang members and criminals and drugs coming over, we can’t keep up with it all. I don’t know of any president in history, any Republican or Democrat, that would have ever done this? It’s unthinkable that we have a president that’s turned his back on the country, but it’s all a plan because they want to get in before the year 2024. They want to get in four million, eight million people. And how many of those are over 18? They’ll make citizens or registered to vote.”

“This guy is the biggest fraud and biggest joke in American politics. And when you see even Democrat, liberal Democrats, leftist Democrats turn on him, what he did in office is disgraceful. It’s unacceptable. From nursing homes to the sexual harassment and how he sits up there and struts himself and his brother on CNN. These types of people in office are bad for everyone, Republicans and Democrats, because if people don’t trust, and we have a lack of trust and a lot of our institutions in America today for lots of reasons, valid or not valid. But when they look at that, and if he can get away with that and be king as he sees himself, then that undermines our democracy. And so whether it was a Republican, I’d say the same thing.”
