On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) said it’s up to local school boards to fight against Critical Race Theory being taught in schools and not to expect the government to get involved.
“I see parents pushing back on Critical Race Theory in Colorado. I encourage parents across the board don’t just throw something at your TV and get mad, go run for school boards, help somebody run for school or make a change at the local level. Don’t expect Congress to get involved, especially Republicans and conservatives like me, to say this is what a school can teach and can’t teach. I’ve offered a bill that that prohibits the use of federal funds to teach critical race theory. But the bottom line is the rubber meets the road at the school boards and Americans have to get involved.”
“The sad fact is that most Americans don’t buy into this. Most Americans of every color and ethnicity and race and gender don’t buy into the nonsense that they’re trying to push. And it’s going to fail.”
