Evening Edition: Over One Billion COVID-19 Vaccines Promised To Poorer Nations

Leaders at the ‘G7 Summit’ this past weekend promised to donate over one billion COVID-19 vaccinations to poorer countries in a continuing effort to achieve equal distribution. Many of those donated doses will go through the COVAX program, run by the WHO with UNICEF coordinating the procurement, supply and distribution. FOX’s Trey Yingst speaks with Lily Caprani, Senior Advisor on Global Campaigns for the Office of the Executive Director at UNICEF, about the pledge by the G7 nations and what it means for the continuing global efforts to end the pandemic for good.
