Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA): Maybe Dr. Fauci Knew About The Coronavirus’ Origins & Didn’t Share It

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) said the “explosive” emails from Dr. Anthony Fauci raise some serious questions about what he knew and shared his concerns about why Dr. Fauci didn’t share his information with others.

“Over a year ago, he was getting emails from other scientists saying this thing may have started in a lab. And all the while, number one, he never shared that with the President’s Task Force on Coronavirus, which is very alarming. But all of us who were calling over a year ago for hearings on the origins, suggesting it might have started in a lab because we were getting reports it might have, and we were called everything from conspiracy theorists to anti-Asian. For goodness sake, the world ought to know millions of people died all across the globe. If it started in a lab, whether it was intentionally leaked or not, that’s something that everybody ought to know. They ought to be demanding truthful answers on it. And these e-mails really do raise serious questions. Hearings need to be held. I’ve called on Speaker Pelosi multiple times now to hold hearings from various committees that have jurisdiction, and she’s yet to want to hold a hearing. I don’t know what they’re covering up for. I don’t know why they’re not more concerned about China’s complicity, the Chinese Communist Party hiding this, or maybe Dr. Fauci and others who knew about it and didn’t share it with everybody else. Why wouldn’t they have shared this?”
