Dr. Manny Alvarez, Fox News Contributor and Senior Health Analyst joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to discuss CDC and FDA’s pause in Johnson and Johnson vaccine after rare blood clots.

Dr. Manny Alvarez said,

Listen, the only thing I could tell you, this is a moronic step by by the leadership. And I put Dr. Foushee right in the center of it. You know, they can chew gum and walk at the same time. And unfortunately, this is going to create a new narrative that I’m very concerned about because, you know, I like his like many other doctors, I am in the front lines of defense. I am pushing the vaccine. I am writing articles and dealing with policy that affects my patient population, which is pregnant patients throughout the United States. And I’ve been asked to, you know, sort of put my two cents into the whole thing at six cases, you know, millions of doses. The ratio, one in a million. Yes, the clouts are atypical, which is something that should be kind of analyze, you know, the issues with platelet disorders and and cortical vein thrombosis, things that you typically would not see.”

Dr. Alvarez added,

Imagine how are you going to convince the public to take a Johnson and Johnson vaccine? So from that aspect, that’s criminal to me, because, you know, no matter what you do, even if even if you say what you have to say, even if you prove what you have to prove. You know, the first thing when I woke up this morning, I had a meeting. I had to have a discussion with with a very intelligent young woman and she said, Dr. Manny, no way you’re going to convince me to take a Johnson and Johnson, despite the fact that I had some facts to discuss that would otherwise would create a narrative of a narrative that would allow her to consider it.”
