Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R-NY): Democrats Criticizing Cuomo Are “Trying To Give Themselves Some Cover”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) said that Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been caught up in lies for months and that the Democrats who are calling on him to resign are just trying to “give themselves cover” knowing Cuomo will stay in office.

“We called for this information early on. Every time they give something out, they all of a sudden they get caught in a lie. They have been caught in multiple, multiple lies and cover ups since since the summer. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop, actually.”

“All these Democrats in Albany and even a couple in Congress have called on him to resign. But, you know, they’re just saying this. A lot of people who are calling for his resignation know he’s not going to resign and they know they’re not going to impeach him. Six months ago when his numbers were through the roof because of his press conferences and everything, everybody was running to take pictures with him, to be with them. So now they’re just trying to, you know, give themselves some cover, I think.”
