Sen. Marsha Blackburn: You Can’t Put Up A Wall In DC And Not At The Border

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) talked about the double standard the Biden administration is showing when dealing with Americans and those at the southern border, and responds to President Biden referring the ending of mask mandates like Texas as “Neanderthal thinking.”

“You can’t say we have to have walls in Washington, D.C. and then say we can’t have a wall on the southern border. You can’t say that Americans have to quarantine and wear a mask and children can’t go to school in our cities and communities and then at the border say, everyone, come on in and we’ve got schools for the children, we have housing. We have ways to take care of you. It is double talk. It is a double standard. It is really what the American people are tired of.”

“If Neanderthal thinking is you open up your state, you get people to work, that’s a good thing. If Neanderthal thinking is we don’t put people with COVID back into nursing homes and turn those nursing homes in the morgue, That’s a good thing. You take care of people. So if you want to name this Neanderthals, then so be it.”
