This week, Martha is joined by Representative Madeleine Dean (D-PA) and her son Harry Cunnane to discuss their new book, “Under Our Roof” which they wrote together about how Rep. Dean helped Harry overcome his drug addiction.
They share the difficult memories they confronted in writing this book together, how Harry’s struggle with addiction tested the family’s faith, the stigma surrounding substance abuse disorder and the moment that Rep. Dean and her husband confronted Harry about his problem and convinced him to seek professional help.
