Alveda King: “We Have To Stop Fighting Over Skin Color and Political Parties”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Alevda King, Fox News Contributor and niece of Martin Luther King, spoke to JImmy about what she feels is the message everyone can learn from her uncle.

“Martin Luther King Jr. said the law may not be able to make somebody love me, but it can keep them from lynching me. So we need laws and we are supposed to go and vote for things that we believe in that won’t hurt humans, but we’ll heal humans. But the help and the unity, we cannot unite without God. So people are not understanding that. And so that’s why I take my time to explain that. So we can unify. We have not gone backwards on race relations, but what we’ve not understood that we are one human race, not separate races. So we have to stop fighting over skin color and political parties.”
