Evening Edition: Global Initiative To Get Vaccines To Poorest Nations
The World Health Organization has teamed up with UNICEF to help get vaccines to health workers and those with risk factors in the poorer countries of the world. UNICEF says they plan on distributing 2-billion vaccines to ninety two low and middle income countries by the end of 2021. FOX’s Trey Yingst speaks with Michael Nyenhuis, president and CEO of UNICEF USA, about the role UNICEF plays in getting vaccines to lower income regions of the globe.
