Frank Fahrenkopf, Chairman of the Commission on Presidential Debates, defended the commission’s decision to change the October 15th debate to virtual. Fahrenkopf says safety for all involved was the reason to switch the format in light of President Trump being covid positive. Fahrenkopf also addressed controversy over the next debate moderator Steve Scully sending out disparaging tweets on Donald Trump, telling Kilmeade that Scully’s twitter account was hacked.
