On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson, who is running for Congress in Texas, commented on whether President Trump could take hydroxychloroquine as part of his response to his COVID diagnosis, and criticized the Democrats for using the diagnosis against President Trump politically.
"It's one of the things that they could use, and he's taken it before, like he said in a prophylactic dose when he was exposed before. So it's comforting to know that the president's already been exposed to that medication. He didn't had side effects to it or any you know, it didn't cause any problems for him. If he takes it as a treatment dose, it will be a little bit higher dose, but it'll be a safe drug for him. He could also take a Z-Pack, take zinc and Vitamin D. Those are all pretty harmless. He could take an inhaled or nebulized steroids once again, a drug that's going to have no downside but potentially does have some benefit. There's a lot of stuff out there they could do. I think he's essentially asymptomatic right now."
"The left is going to spin this and they're going to make everything they can possibly make out of this. They're going to try to use this as a reason why they can't confirm a Supreme Court Justice. They're going to try to go down that path. They're going to try to use this as an excuse why Biden can't do another debate with the President even though he didn't cut his own throat like he could have the other not. They don't want him out there exposed like that because he'll do it next time and they know it. So they're trying to figure out how to get the debate in this the perfect opportunity for that. And the mail-in ballots, they're trying to use it as a final argument for why we should have unsolicited mail-in ballots in the swing states that will then be harvested, filled out by the Democrats, and that's how they will end up trying to take this election. So they're going to use this to their political advantage and they're just hostile towards the President, which is shameful, They are hoping and wishing for a bad outcome for him."
