Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) spoke with Fox News Radio's Guy Benson about the supreme court vacancy left by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Senator Cotton when asked about the timetable on confirming Ginsberg's replacement, and weather or not it will take place before election day. Senator Cotton said,
"I can tell you this. We're going to be careful, thorough, deliberate, just like we were with Justice Gorsuch and Justice Kavanaugh. We will move forward without delay. The president has said that he'll make his nomination on Saturday. We will immediately begin the normal process of vetting the nominees backgrounds of scheduling meetings with the nominee. I suspect that Lindsey Graham will announce the hearing schedule and there is more than enough time."
