Tom Bevan: Bill Clinton Is Still Around Because “A Good Politician, But Not The Best Person”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Real Clear Politics’ Tom Bevan discusses whether Bill Clinton should have been allowed to speak at the Democratic National Convention despite him being called on to be “cancelled” by the #MeToo movement.
“So Bill Clinton doesn’t get canceled. Meanwhile, other folks who did stuff way less serious than Bill Clinton lost their jobs, lost their reputations, were hounded and excommunicated from society and haven’t been able to return, some of these folks. It is crazy the way that it ultimately played out and that Bill Clinton is still around, and still speaking at the convention, and getting attaboys from a lot of folks, including a lot of women. I was watching some of the commentators last night and they were all excited to see Bill Clinton speak. And it was because he’s a very good politician, even if he’s not necessarily the best person.”
