Chris Wallace: We Are Not As United As We Were In World War II

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace discussed his new book “Countdown 1945” and why Americas were more united during World War Two then they are now.

“There was this extraordinary unity in the country. We’re all on the same side. We’re all pulling for the same thing. It was near the end of World War Two and there was one common goal and everybody agreed to it. If we were trying to do something like this today, what no matter how it was, no matter how righteous the cause, somebody would get on social media and say guess what, we’re doing this and I disagree with it and I’m going to blow the cover on it. I just can’t believe that we would have the kind of unity that we had to do to fight and to win the war and to develop the bomb as a way to end it.”
