On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Fox News' Emily Compagno discussed how the lack of response by the National Guard on the ground in Minneapolis showed there a breakdown in leadership in how to deal with the escalating situation.

"I thought it was interesting that the presser that the Minnesota governor was quite clear about absolving himself of that decision-making authority and kept pushing it to that local and sheriff level and kind of saying, 'I had the National Guard activated since 5:00pm yesterday and they didn't have their missions.' They were waiting around essentially. And then obviously they were activated for those four missions that they described. But it seemed to me that there was a considerable disconnect between the governor and expectations and the local leadership and sheriffs and their expectations. I'm just saying that I think there was clearly a breakdown of leadership at some level."
