Karl Rove Former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Adviser to President George W. Bush, Author, "The Triumph of William McKinley" Wall Street Journal Columnist and Fox News Contributor. Spoke with Fox News Radio's Guy Benson about the 2020 election. Saying,"Both sides ought to be doing things now to set the stage for this fall. But once we get to the two conventions, which are now back to back in mid to late August, there's going to be sort of like the only campaign in our lifetimes or many Americans lifetimes that comes close is the 1980 campaign."

Rove also responded to reports he is formally advising the Trump campaign. Responding, "First Of All, Don't Believe Everything You Read In The Press." He went on to say he is not involved with the Trump campaign, calling even the term 'informal outside adviser' an exaggeration. He says he respects Trump Campaign manager, Brad Parscale and is happy to occasionally chat & give unvarnished assessments.
