On FOX Across America with Jimmy Failla, former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile discusses how both Joe Biden and President Trump will try to win over former supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign in 2020.
"I recognize that Bernie Sanders, like the twenty-five other candidates who ran this year, they ran on a platform of trying to strengthen the parties and improve the condition of the country. And while Bernie came up short in 2020, there's no question that he has had an impact on not just the Democratic Party but has had an impact on the nation. Whether you agree or disagree, you've got to admit that we spent a lot of time this year talking about Medicare for all, eliminating student debt, the Green New Deal and trade issues that President Trump is trying to capitalize on. Everybody's going to try to take a piece of Bernie's coalition and claim it for themselves. But the truth is Bernie Sanders will go down in history as a progressive who ran twice for the presidency of the United States and came up short. So I do believe that there is life after Bernie Sanders."
