Rep. Dan Crenshaw: Restricting Travel Saved Lives & The Democrats Wouldn’t Have Done It

On FOX Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) explained how Democrats wouldn’t have enacted a Chinese travel restriction like President Trump did, which led to many lives being saved.

“The fact that he restricted Chinese travel, this was incredibly controversial at the time. The people making these accusations are rewriting history. The reality is he did take very bold steps that we now know saved thousands of lives. We also know something else. If they want to finger point, then we have to say this. We know, with 100% confidence, that if Democrats were in charge, they would not have restricted travel. We know that because they’ve said it over and over and over again. So we know what their policy would have been in the absence of Donald Trump. That is significant. That is enormously significant, especially since we know that policy saved lives. Lots and lots of lives.”
