Dr. Nicole Saphier: We Have Come So Far In Defeating The Coronavirus

On FOX Across America with Jimmy Failla, Fox News Medical Contributor Dr. Nicole Saphier discussed how far the number of coronavirus deaths have dropped since the original estimates by the White House Task Force.

“So we’re still hearing these grim reports. You know, just yesterday you heard the White House Task Force saying still projecting potentially 100,000 to 200,000 American deaths from the virus. But the point that people aren’t remembering is that the projected number prior to social distancing measures was 1 to 2 million American deaths. We have now cut that down to 10 percent. I don’t want to say that 100,000 to 200,000 is not grim, but we have to see how far we’ve come, and I personally think we’re still going to get even lower than that because we are taking such strict social distancing measures and people are being educated and informed on a daily basis on how this virus spreads.”
