President and Founder of the Eurasia Group Ian Bremmer joined Brian to discuss President Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as his comments on the cure for COVID-19 possibly being worse than the disease itself. The President was referencing widespread mandatory business closures and stay-at-home orders which are continuing to have severe economic consequences for both Wall St. and the American worker.
“Almost every leader around the world, if they’re responsible, is thinking that privately because it’s obviously true that there’s massive economic damage that comes from a lock-down,” Bremmer said. Bremmer went to explain how the President can more effectively get his message across to Americans who are stuck at home and are uneasy about the rapidly worsening economy.
