You may have seen Johnny “Joey” Jones on Fox News Channel. The contributor is usually booked to discuss the topic of the day and many times the retired Marine Staff Sergeant references his time serving in the military.
But you may not know that Johnny “Joey” Jones was also a Marine Corps bomb technician who suffered a life-changing injury while deployed in Afghanistan that resulted in the loss of both his legs above the knee and severe damage to his right forearm and both wrists.
Jones joined The Fox News Rundown earlier this week to discuss what he described at his “one bad day” and his long painful path to recovery. He told host Lisa Brady how he remained positive and why he now believes the power of perspective can change your life.
The original conversation was powerful and inspiring, but unfortunately too long to include in our original segment.
On The Fox News Rundown Extra you will hear more Jones’ incredible story and how he maintains such a positive attitude despite the challenges he has face since his “one bad day”. He also talks more about what he is doing to help his fellow vets who are also coping with their own challenges.
