The U.S. calling for accountability in the killing of a Saudi journalist in Turkey as the Saudis face international skepticism for claiming the death was an accident.

FOX’s Jon Decker has the latest from the White House:

President Trump says he has still not received a final report from U.S. intelligence officials about the circumstances of Jamal Khashoggi’s death.

But he criticized Saudi officials for permitting his murder in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul:

(President Trump): “They had a very bad original concept. It was carried out poorly. And the cover-up was one of the worst in the history of cover-ups.”

Turkish President Erdogan has rejected the Saudis’ account of Khashoggi’s killing and said the journalist was murdered in a pre-planned operation directed by top Saudi officials.
